Wpf binding not updating ui

This object has a property called Summary Details of type Observable Collection which renders into a List View, line by line.To do this, I have created a separate property on the View Model called Customer Summary Details which contains simply a get, that returns the collection contained within the customer I mentioned above. You then create a value converter which takes in a business object and emits a wrapper around it.

I use this XAML code, where the converter is in my code behind class: Also for the selected File, if the information in the file changes while it is selected (which other classes can cause to happen), I want the status bar to update automatically to reflect this change, but it doesn't; I have to click something else and then re-select the File of interest. From here I can check a box beside each to turn them on or off, and if I select a file, information about it appears in the status bar of this Window. If I turn a File off, its text colour is supposed to appear light grey in the List View, but it does not do this automatically; I have to close the Window and re-open it.Since the Content Presenter does not notice any property changes on the object, the entity’s button will continue to display “Stop” instead of changing to display “Start.” That’s a bug in the application (not the platform). The million dollar question is: how can one fix it?
